With 20 years’ experience as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I can help you begin to explore your issues and difficult feelings within the safety of a confidential and supportive counselling relationship.  To book an Initial Consultation, or to talk through your personal issues to begin with, please contact me direct on 07545 258649 / 01273 270706 or send an email to katharinewilliamstherapy@gmail.com

About Me

As an Integrative Therapist, I draw on and tailor specific techniques using Psychodynamic, CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and Solution Focused approaches.

Working shorter term, I can help you to address your current problems and try to find new solutions; whilst longer term therapy can help you explore past and present concerns, to help gain insight and effect more lasting change.

I normally work face to face, but am experienced in providing Skype and Telephone Counselling.

I provide Clinical Supervision for trainee and qualified Counsellors and Service Managers; plus support and supervision for employers, managers, staff, senior executives and self-employed people.

I am a registered member of the BACP and practice under their professional framework (see www.bacp.co.uk).

I hold current Professional Indemnity insurance and an enhanced DBS certificate; and undertake regular post-graduate training and personal therapy.

I qualified as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in 2002, gained a CBT Skills Certificate in 2012 and a post-graduate Supervision Training in 2016.
